JB to introduce universal fertilizer subsidy

Former President Dr Joyce Banda says her government will initiate a universal subsidy of fertilizer once voted to power in the forthcoming 2019 tripartite election.

The People’s Party torch bearer for 2019 election said this at Mziza in Kasungu on Wednesday.

She says her motivation to return to power is to bail Malawi out of what she describes as hot soup.

“I know how painful it is to live in a grass-thatched house. I will always dedicate my life in helping underprivileged to move out of poverty,” said Banda while attracting ululations from the people gathered at the rally.

Soon after addressing the people of Mziza she went straight to a house of a woman who passed away few months ago and she benefited from Mudzi transformation.

In her condolence message she asked the family to continue taking care of the house and further thanked TA Njombwa for being one of the exemplary leaders who works without bias.
