Bruce Munthali pulls out of DPP primaries in Mzimba North

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Dr Bruce Munthali has pulled out of the race in the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) primaries for Mzimba North Constituency.

DPP Regional Governor Kenneth Sanga confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local radio station (TIMES radio).

According to Sanga, Munthali made the decision after he got three votes at the first center while his rival Rosemary Mkandawire got over 300 votes.

This means the parliamentary primaries might be suspended since there were just two candidates competing.
