MP Bon Kalindo beaten by DPP cadets in Mulanje

Suspected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) followers have beaten and injured Member of Parliament for Mulanje and UTM Director of Youth, Bon Kalindo, in Mulanje.
The development comes barely two days after Kalindo was released from police cell for allegedly insulting President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
Kalindo confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).
According to Kalindo, the incident happened a short while ago at the DC’s office where he went for a meeting with the DC.
Kalindo is currently receiving treatment at Mulanje District Hospital.
