Bed bugs Hit St Lawrence Girls Secondary School

Students at St Lawrence Girls Secondary School in Chikwawa this morning went on rampage protesting a failure by management to eliminate bed bugs that have hit the school’ hostels.

Students at the school have been struggling with the bed bugs for quite some time and the management of the school has done nothing over the matter.

This development forced the students to take a bold step by protesting against the issue.

In the course of their protesting the students destroyed the school’s administrative office and injured a guard.

Currently the students have left the school premises.

Poor diet and misuse of funds are also the contributing reasons for the students’ protest.
