Deliwe Makata Launches ‘Go for Gold’ Book

Deliwe Makata an upcoming writer is scheduled to launch her book entitled Go for Gold: Achieving Beyond the Norm; Towards Exceptional Exploits,

The book is aimed at inspiring, empowering individuals, organizations and companies to take up challenges and achieve their ultimate goals while passionately pursuing growth and development.

The launch to take place on May 25 at Hotel Victoria in Blantyre will be graced by one of the country’s successful business magnate, Jimmy Koreia Mpatsa who will be the guest of honour

Makata said the book addresses the idea and concepts that present themselves as excuses in an individual’s life.

“The book opens ideas and inspirations for one to pursue a life beyond the norm while minimizing living a life below the realities of what you can actually achieve,’’ said Makata.

“I used the term Gold to represent the idea that our dreams and ambitions are invaluable. The potential that we all contain to become our very best is not ordinary and uniquely designed in all of us,” she said.

Makata added that the existence of potential does not automatically entail that people will become what they are capable of becoming, noting that people must purposely and progressively pursue and strive for gold.

“As every writer plans to publish anything, an article or a book, they have an idea of what they would love to achieve. As writers, we are creative, we bring into context ideas that we want to share to the world and I believe most of the times, our readers take the flow of the message we are giving out.

“In the same way, I wrote this book because I wanted to share my ideas, thoughts and inspirations regarding living a life that is out of normalcy,” she emphasized.
