Former Member of Parliament for Karonga Central Constituency Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo who is also runningmate for United Democratic Front (UDF) has conceded defeat in the unofficial results of the Tuesday tripartite elections.
Mwenefumbo has been outclassed by Cornelius Mwalwanda of Malawi Congress Party (MCP), according to unofficial results.
Speaking in an interview with the press, Mwenefumbo who also took part the Presidential runningmate debates held by Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) excepted defeat.
Mwenefumbo while congratulating his contender, he saluted the people of Karonga Central Constituency for the support rendered to him during his tenure of office.
He said he will be available for help if Mwalwanda will need his help.
