DPP Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey falls in Nkhotakota South

Controversial Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey has lost the Parliamentary seat in Nkhotakota South in the Tuesday’s tripartite election, according to unofficial results.
Jeffrey wa Jeffrey has surrendered the seat to Malawi Congress Party (MCP) MP Brennex Kaisi.
According to information at hand, Jeffrey wa Jeffrey has amassed 12, 500 while her challenger who is going to Parliament has amassed 13, 500 votes.
Jeffrey wa Jeffrey has followed the footsteps of DPP Vice for Central Region Uladi Mussa, former Minister of Information Henry Mussa, Jessie Kabwira of United Transformation Movement (UTM), Lucius Banda, Patricia Kaliati who have all lost their seats.
