The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced plans to expand their charitable organization Sentebale to Malawi.

The Royal couple will be coming to the Warm Heart of Africa later in the year however dates are yet to be communicated publicly.

The announcement was made on Tuesday as Prince Harry also attended a red carpet gala concert to help raising money for his charitable organisation.

Among others who attended included Rita Ora, Tom Hardy, Richard Miller and Morena Leraba.

Sentebale supports the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.

Their programmes of education and care provide the tools and knowledge this vulnerable generation need to live long, happy, healthy lives in future.

Sentebale is expanding its Aids prevention programme into Malawi.

On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace announced that Harry will attend a conference on land mines in London ahead of the tour.

The conference, next week, will focus on mine clearance in Angola, which the Palace said “the presence of land mines and remnants of the civil war render large areas of the country unsafe”.

During the same Tuesday night, Harry attended a red carpet gala concert to help raise awareness and money for Sentebale.

This comes as the couple is expected to tour the African continent later this year according to the royal house.

The couple will also visit Angola to highlight the continuing problems from land mines.
