Protesters Burn Police Station in Mzuzu, Police Disperse People with Teargas

Some protesters in the ongoing anti-Ansah demonstrations have burnt Chiputula police station which is in Mzuzu, Face of Malawi can reveal.

It has also been reported that an ADMARC building has been burnt by protesters in the same area.

The Mzuzu City Council fire brigade rushed to the scene where a police has been burnt to extinguish the fire but it was after a big damage was made.

Police have since started firing teargas to protesters who have turned more violent in the northern part of Mzuzu.
