Lucius Banda Visits Namoko’s Graveyard

On Sunday Lucius Banda took his time and drove to Allan Namoko’s Village where he visited Namoko’s graveyard.

Banda was welcomed by a 76 year old elder sister of Allan Namoko, Falesi Namoko who explained a number of things that people never knew about the legendary musician.

Falesi explained That Allan her brother, who died in October 1995, was not born blind. He went blind as a result of a measles attack which also claimed his twin brother’s life.

“On a sad note though, despite Allan Namoko’s playing on radios on a daily basis, the family says they have not received any royalties since 1999.” Banda added

Banda took a picture of Namoko’s tomb from far and gave thanks to Zodiak for honouring the legend
