Sidik Mia’s office petrol-bombed in Blantyre

The offices of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Vice President Muhammad Sidik Mia, formerly known as Cold Storage, have been petrol-bombed by unknown thugs.
The development comes barely weeks after suspected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) cadets’ torched MCP regional office in the capital Blantyre.
The incident happened in the early hours of Friday and fire fighters were called to duty to put out the fire.
Mia’s offices are situated off Chichiri-Ndirande road near cold storage.
Police are yet to comment on the fire incident.
Meanwhile Mia is this morning expected to hold media briefing where he is expected to comment on the fire incident.
