Mutharika launches six war ships

President Peter Mutharika has today launched six war ships at a ceremony currently underway at the Marine Department of the Malawi Defense Force in Mangochi.

The six, which comprise of two big ships and four smaller ones, have been named after former army Commanders such as Mancain Chigawa, Major General Khanga, Major General Yohane.

In the other hand, the two bigger ships have been named after former President Bakili Mulizi and President Peter Mutharika.

In his speech, Mutharika urged the MDF soldiers to take care of the said ships.
