Government through Ministry of Health and Population has disclosed that the newly constructed cancer centre situated close to Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) will open on October 1, 2019.
The Ministry of Health officials disclosed this when they appeared before the Cluster Committe on Health, HIV and AIDS and Nutrition on Tuesday.

The cancer centre is being constructed with a $13 million (about K10 billion) loan from Opec Fund for International Development (Ofid).
