Muslims’ Ziyara Parade slated for Sunday

Preparations for this year’s Ziyara Parade which is expected to take place this coming Sunday are at advanced stage.

Sheikh Shafi Ahmed who is part of the Sheikhs for this year’s Ziyara Parade told journalists at a media briefing in Blantyre.

He said Muslims around the World celebrate the birth of the prophet Muhammad who was sent by Allah to show people good manners on how they can stay as human beings.

“The prophet Muhammad he did not only came to deliver the massage of Allah but also as example to be emulated and learn from. He delivered and taught us good manners towards each other,” he said.

Sheikh Ahmed said they are praying for a good weather so that Muslims should be able to cerebrate.

The theme for this year’s Ziyara Parade is ‘To love each other and to live peacefully’.
