Livimbo school sale saga: owners of demolished warehouse sent back

The joint committee looking into the sale of land at Livimbo in Lilongwe has sent back representatives of owners of demolished warehouses near Livimbo school, saying the committee wanted the owners themselves.

The owners according to their lawyer Ishmael Wadi are Yakoob Ibrahim Laheri who is now deceased and his son represented him. Another owner Irfran Mohammed Patel is reportedly outside the country.

Chairperson for the committe Kezzie Msukwa has since asked the owners to meet the commitee on Thursday.
