United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima is today meeting the quasi-religious body Public Affairs Committee (PAC) in a move to find lasting solution to the ongoing political impasse.
The meeting is taking place at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital Lilongwe.
Chilima arrived at the venue of the meeting together with his Vice Michael Usi and some UTM top officials.
He was welcomed by PAC Mediation Team Leader, Bishop Thomas Msusa and PAC Executive Director, Robert Phiri.
On Wednesday, PAC also met Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera where they also discussed a number of issues.
Chakwera also assured PAC that he will respect the ruling of the constitutional court hearing the much awaited Presidential polls case.
UTM and MCP are seeking nullification of the May 21 polls which saw President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika being declared winner by the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
