In India – The police finally solved the murder case of a woman, months after her death.
The woman identified as Priti Verma died in May last year and until Wednesday, the police were trying to locate the woman.
The incident came to light after the police arrested a man in relation to another murder. The woman’s father has been identified as Raju Verma. Verma and his brothers Jamuna Prasad Verma and Rajesh Verma were arrested on Wednesday for murdering the woman and concealing evidence.
The police had given up on the investigation of Priti Verma’s missing complaint when they arrested two persons on charges of murder. The two men – Ajay Pasi and Pawan Saroj were arrested after they allegedly shot dead a trader identified as Sarvesh Somvansi.
Pasi had seen Somvansi with Priti’s family when they were lodging her missing complaint, The Times of India reported. During interrogation, Pasi confessed to killing Somvansi over the disappearance of Priti. The police then began investigating the case from all angles.
