KK POLICE BURNT TO ASHES 3 TONNES OF CHAMBA

NKHOTAKOTA – Nkhotakota Police on Tuesday February 25, destroyed Indian hemp worth over 3 tonnes accumulated from June to December 2019.

The exercise was done on Tuesday February 25 in Nkhotakota Game Reserve and it was by witnessed by Nkhotakota district council, Nkhotakota magistrate court, the media, among others.The destruction was done by burning using diesel and petrol.

The Indian hemp was confiscated at Nkhotakota roadblock, from different uncharted routes, in homes, among other places.

This is a routine exercise which is done when the Indian hemp in the police stores accumulate.
