Police Trap Six Suspects In Bangwe, Property Worth Millions Recovered

Police in Limbe are keeping in custody six suspects for the offence of found in possession of property suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained.

It is reported that on February 25, 2020 police got information from some patriotic members of the general public that some unknown suspects are keeping various properties in Bangwe.

Following the information, detectives from Limbe and Blantyre (Libra) police successfully arrested Joseph Emmanuel Kalitu, Leonard Grey and four others after finding them in possession of various properties that included Canon printer, Giga bite CPU, Mercy monitor, Volkano monitor, Acer monitors, HP CPU and many other properties worth millions.

Currently, the suspects are expected to appear before court as soon as investigations are completed.

Police are therefore urging the general public to report any suspicious persons so that, together, they can help in creating a safe and secure Malawi.
