Supporters for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) are today expected to hold demonstrations in Mangochi dubbed ‘Restoration of Justice’
The march is a reaction to the Constitutional Court ruling which nullified May 21, 2019 presidential elections.
According the blue camp, the panel of five judges who delivered the ruling robbed their victory.
For the past weeks, the DPP supporters took their restoration for justice march to central, southern and northern regions.
Meanwhile, President Peter Mutharika and the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) are challenging the court ruling at the Supreme Court of Appeal.
