POLICE ARRESTS RWANDESE, 2 MALAWIANS FOR POSSESSING OFFENSIVE WEAPONS IN DOWA

Three people are in police custody at Dowa Police Station for allegedly being found in possession of offensive weapons.

Sub Inspector Gladson M’bumpa, Dowa Police Public Relations Officer identified the three are as: Focus Dishmana, 17, from Rwanda, Stanley Charles,20, and Dickson Mwale, 30, both from Manzie Village in the area of Traditional Authority Msakambewa in Dowa District.

“The suspects were arrested during the night of March 8 2020 at Katubza Location at Dzaleka Refugee Camp after being found in possession of a hammer, nailed stick and three empty bottles.” Explained Sub Inspector M’bumpa

He has since said police have seized the weapons and the suspects will appear before court soon to answer charges of found in possession of offensive weapons.
