UTM Youth Clean Njamba Freedom Park After Successful Rally

United Transformation Movement (UTM) youth have this morning taken cleaning exercise to Njamba Freedom Park after a successful political rally on Sunday.

The youth are seen picking up all filthy and waste dumped during yesterday’s rally organized by the party.

Yesterday, UTM president Saulos Chilima invaded Njamba for a rally dubbed ‘Change is here’ as part of celebration following the February 3 Constitutional Court judgment which nullified May 21, 2019 presidential polls.

Graced by thousands of supporters, the rally also saw different faces known in the political world joining UTM.

Among others, Umodzi party (UP) president John Chisi officially said he has joined UTM and endorsed the alliance UTM has made with Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

Yunusu Mussa and George Nnesa were also seen at the rally.

Speakers at the rally focused on preventing the deadly coronavirus and encouraged people to go and register when the time comes and vote in large numbers in order to bring change.
