Malawi records 6 more cases of COVID-19

Malawi has recorded six new cases of coronavirus taking the total number of confirmed cases to 23, Faceofmalawi can reveal.

Principal Secretary in the Ministry of health Dr. Dan Namarika has confirmed in a media briefing currently underway in the commercial capital Blantyre.

According to Namarika, one of the six cases is from Kaliyeka area who has spread the virus to three people.

“We are at war with the virus. It is up to us to choose life. We have an opportunity now to control the disease. But if we don’t, the disease will control us and the battle will be difficult,” said Namarika.
