Tonse Alliance torchbearer Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his runningmate Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also State Vice President will hold a campaign rally at Njamba Freedom Park in the commercial capital Blantyre on Monday.
The rally in Njamba comes barely a week after a successfully campaign rally held at Likuni Community Grounds in the capital Lilongwe.
Currently Chilima who is also President of United Transformation Movement (UTM) is in Salima campaigning for Chakwera ahead of the fresh Presidential polls.
While Chakwera, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President is Lilongwe campaigning for a new Malawi.
Meanwhile it is not known as to when the fresh Presidential polls will be held following resignation of Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Jane Ansah.
Ansah told the state controlled Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) on Thursday night that he has tendered her resignation to President Peter Mutharika and is waiting for response.
