Dedza District Hospital Junior workers down tools

Junior members of staff at Dedza district hospital have today begun boycotting work due to failure by officials to include them on the list of people receiving risk allowances in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking in an interview with the press some of the workers said that despite the fact that they are the first people coming to the district hospital meet, they are not receiving health risk allowances.

They also claim that they have no access to personal protective equipment.
