It appears the rape, defilement, and murder cases are not ending anytime soon as two housemaids have been charged at the Igbosere Magistrates’ Court for defiling their employer’s daughters.
The two identified as Peace Sunday, aged 19 and Bose Augustine aged 18 were said to be found guilty of defiling the 2yrs old and 17yrs old girls with their fingers and sticks.
They were charged with unlawful and indecent sexual penetration into the virginal and anus of the two girls and are temporarily remanded at the police station waiting for advice from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution.
The maids were arrested by the Police at the Ilasan Division, Lekki, following the complaints of the parents of the victims.
Police Prosecution Counsel, Inspector Peace Chukwudi told the court in charge No C/52Q/2020 that the accused persons committed the offense between 24 and 27 May 2020 at Lekki Garden Horizon 2 Estate, Lekki, where they work and live with the two complainants.
The case has been adjourned till 4 July 2020 as the court waits for the reports of the Directorate of Public Prosecution.
