Director of Human Resources and Administration at Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (Escom) Daphter Namandwa who went missing on Thursday in Mulanje, has been found alive.
ESCOM Public Relations Manager Innocent Chitosi has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.
“It is true that he has been found. Plans are that he sees a doctor for check up this morning as the police continue with their investigations,” Chitosi said.
According to a police report, Namandwa was found around 18:00 hours by a motorcycle (kabaza) operator at Thabwa along Nalipiri road,looking weak and desperate.
Meanwhile investigations are underway to establish the truth behind the matter.
