BLANTYRE – The Electoral Commission (Commission) is informing all electoral stakeholders that a hired van registration Number CA 779 caught fire due to electrical fault on the morning.
The incident happened in the morning of 22nd June, 2020 near Limbe Cathedral in Blantyre and at the time of the accident the truck was empty.
No person was hurt. The truck had just been hired and was on its way to Thyolo where it was assigned to pick polling material from the constituency centre to the polling stations.
