Newly appointed Minister of Finance Felix Mlusu has tabled a financial resolution seeking Parliament approval to spend about K722.4 billion for the period 1st July to 31st October, 2020.
The budget will run for four months.
The amount will form part of the 2020/21 national budget to be prepared and presented later within the four month period.
Among the contents of the budget is fulfillment of the the promise to slash the price of fertilizer to an average price of MK4, 495 per 50kg bag.
The Minister has also disclosed plans of redefining the private sector to accommodate deserving youth on internship.
