DPP Central Region Governor Granted Bail

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Central Region governor David Kambalame has been granted bail by Lilongwe Police Station.
Kambalame was arrested today for allegedly of assaulting Malawi Congress Party Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka on 11 April 2020 at Lilongwe police station.
Kambalame has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and with conduct at a Police Station.
He is slated to appear before court when case files are ready.
