Frank Mazizi Dumps DPP, Joins MCP

Former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) candidate for Lilongwe City Center Constituency Frank Mazizi has joined Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

He was welcomed by the party’s officials in the capital Lilongwe.

He has been presented to Lilongwe City Center Constituency Committee by Kachere area Committee today.

When welcoming Mazizi, one top official from MCP asked him to be loyal to the party.

“Hon Mazizi  we welcome you to your original party, we know when you were a young man you once championed  MCA, Poly and MCHS MCP wing, we know you are MCP and in DPP probably you lost direction,” he said.

We will give you support and your fruit’s will determine the direction you will be heading to.

In his remarks Mazizi thanked the MCP for welcoming him into the party and urged people in his area to give support to the state president Lazarus Chakwera.
