Zomba Central Hospital health workers down tools over salary arrears

Zomba Central Hospital Health Workers have started a sit-in to force the Tonse Alliance government under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to pay them their salary arrears.

The workers, who also staged a similar strike in April this year, complain that management is not showing commitment to address their concerns.

According to one of the workers, who opted for anonymity, said they will only resume work once their dues are settled.
