Man loses 6 children to Tanker explosion on their way to school in Nigeria

The People of Kogi State in Nigeria may never forget the tragedy that befell them on the 23rd of September, 2020, following the accident that led to the explosion of a Fuel Tanker truck in Lokoja, the state capital.

The explosion, according to residents was said to had killed over 50 persons but the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC confirmed the death of 23 people.

While many mourned for losing one or two lives, Local press gathered that Mr. Idris Yusuf actually lost six (6) children to the inferno.

Yusuf’s 6 children were burnt to death in a car on their way to school, as fire from the fuel tanker truck consumed their vehicle.
