Donor wants fisp budget reviewed

The Irish Government has asked Malawi to review its budgetary allocation to farm input subsidy programme (Fisp) and other social protection programmes. Ireland, one of Malawi’s development partner, has also called goververnment to ‘substantially’ increase own resources towards social protection programmes, including Fisp, arguing that development partners have done their part in scaling up their support over the past years.
