In an attempt to avert planned demonstrations by the Consumers Association of Malawi (Cama) next month, the people’s party (PP) has embarked on a campaign to plead with people not to join the demonstration. The party on Sunday held one such rally in Lilongwe City South East Constituency in Area 23. PP first deputy national director of political affairs Levy Luwemba said they want to reason with the people on the need to shun the demonstrations.
