Two people of the same family have died in Zomba district after being hit by a cruising motor vehicle.
Eastern Region Police assistant spokesperson Tionge Kayenda has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the accident happened on Monday.
Kayenda has identified the deceased as Esnart and Chifuniro Chikwere.
Meanwhile, the police have advised all road users to comply with road traffic rules and regulations as one way of avoiding road accidents.
