Neighbor gets 18 years in prison for raping 12 year old

A northwestern man in South Africa was sent to jail for raping a 12-year-old girl.

The Madikwe District Court sentenced a 57-year-old northwestern man, Jacob Shimane Mokugator, to 18 years in prison for raping a 12-year-old girl.

On February 5, 2019, the child’s mother arrived at her home and was unable to find her daughter, police spokesman Captain Aafje Bomma said.

“Then she went to her neighbor with a friend. When they entered the house, she found the suspect raping her 12-year-old daughter. The incident was immediately reported to police. , I arrested the suspect, “Botma said.

Vice Admiral Sero Kwena, the Northwestern police chief, welcomed the ruling.
