Speaker of Parliament invokes Section 65, declares vacant one seat

Speaker of Parliament has declared vacant the seat of Blantyre Bangwe MP Henry Shaba for crossing the floor. He left UDF to join DPP.
The UDF had also wanted the Speaker to declare vacant the seat of Minister of Energy Ibrahim Matola but the Speaker said Mr. Matola needs to be heard first as he is out of the country and was not served with a notice.
