Mpinganjira’s bribery case to resume today

The High Court in Blantyre is from this morning expected to hear submissions from both the State and lawyers for Thomson Mpinganjira in the alleged Constitutional Court judges bribery case.

The court will also hear oral submissions of no case to answer from lawyers for Mpinganjira.

Mpinganjira is answering six charges in the attempted judge bribery case.

On Tuesday, the High Court granted Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) a permission to cover the case live.

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Reyneck Matemba confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
