Man brutalizes wife for chatting with male friend

NIGERIA – A Nigerian banker by the name of Lawal Musharaf, has been called out for allegedly assaulting his wife for chatting with a male friend who is reported to be her ex schoolmate.
Source alleges that the couple were returning from a visit, on Tuesday, December 15, when Mariam ran into her male ex schoolmate at a shop. They talked and exchanged pleasantries, after which the couple left.
However, on getting home, Musharaf who did not bother to find out who the guy was, allegedly pounced on her and beat her to a pulp.
The source added that this is not the first time, as Musharaf is fond of beating his wife at every slight provocation.
