Minister of Health Khumbize Chiponda who is also co-chair of the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 has said the Musicians Association of Malawi has lifted the injunction that it obtained stopping the task-force from effecting Covid-19 restriction measures.
Following the development and continued spread of Covid-19 cases, the Taskforce has maintained gatherings of not more than 100 and borders will remain closed.
This according to Minister of Health Khumbize Chiponda goes to every gathering including churches and sporting activities.
Chiponda has also revealed that the Committee has maintained status of closing borders and that all Malawians returning should produce Covid19 certificate.
The Committee has also resolved to be holding returnees on forced quarantine before going to their homes.
