Bushiri’s extradition case back in court today

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church and his wife Mary are today expected to appear before the court in the capital Lilongwe.

The two are facing extradition case after freeing South Africa where they are expected to answer fraud and money laundering charges.

Bushiri’s Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

The Bushiris escaped from South Africa and were arrested in the country few days later. The two were released unconditionally by the court in the capital Lilongwe.

Bushiri claims that escaped to Malawi to seek fair trial in his case.
