During a meeting which has just ended about 30 minutes ago at state house, Joyce Banda fumed at Justice minister Ralph Kasambara upon learning of the unnecessary delays to have Peter Mutharika arrested this weekend.
Our source, a minister who attended the meeting has divulged to us that Joyce Banda wants to have Peter Mutharika arrested by tomorrow morning.
This is despite advice that arresting the young Mutharika will create political tension which may escalate into violence as Mutharika is enjoying a massive support across the country.
Joyce Banda wants to arrest Peter Mutharika whom they want to accuse of staging a coup detat to block Joyce Banda from ascending to the presidency after the sudden death of president Bingu Wa Mutharika.
