Teacher caught red-handed defiling 12 year old girl in Phalombe

A 37- year-old primary school teacher in Phalombe is on the run after being accused of defiling a 12- year-old girl.
Phalombe police officer in-charge, MacDonald Chambakata has confirmed of the development in an interview.
According to Chambakata, the suspect Francis Kamowa escaped when he was caught red handed by members of the community on September 19 2021 around Mpasa primary school area in Phalombe district.
Police have since launched a manhunt to arrest the suspect.
