A medical doctor from Kamuzu Central Hospital has certified the death of former deputy speaker of parliament Clement Chiwaya who took his life today at parliament building in Lilongwe.
Meanwhile, Chiwaya’s remains have been removed from the building to KCH.

Some cabinet ministers, senior police officers, Leader of Opposition, Kondwani Nankhumwa and other officials have left the crime scene.
Chiwaya is said to have arrived at Parliament in his yellow Hummer, allegedly to meet Clerk of Parliament Fiona Kalemba for a discussion regarding his benefits.
