Mlunguzi Magistrate Court in Zomba has adjourned a defilement case involving Pastor Penjani Sodzera of Redeemed for Christ Church to October 25 this year.
Magistrate Jones Masula is the one hearing the case in which Pastor Sodzera is accused of defiling and impregnating a 15 year old girl he adopted from an opharnage.
According to court records, the suspect, took the child when she was only ten years old saying he wanted her to be nursing the twins he had with his wife.
In the process, according to the survivor, Pastor Sodzera started defiling her and threatened to kick her out of the house should she share it with anyone else.
The child, who is now 8 months pregnant, narrated her issue to a woman pastor who is an in-charge of the orphanage she was taken from by Pastor Sodzera.
