A 70 year old Zambian father of Mufumbwe in North Western Province has allegedly killed his 27 year old biological son after picking up a quarrel over a bicycle which the son had denied him to use.
North Western Province Deputy Police Commissioner, Dr. Fred Mulenga says after the son now the deceased identified as Ernest Sangondo refused his father identified as Castrol Sangondo to use the bicycle a fight erupted between the two.
He says the father in the process using his bare hands pulled his son’s private parts thereby causing intense harm.
Dr. Mulenga say the son then walked to the nearby bush about 400 meters from Kamano village where he helplessly died.
He has disclosed that the accused has since been arrested and a docket has been opened.
The incident occurred between 18th October 2021 around 13: 00 hours and 19th October 2021 at Kamano area in Mufumbwe District.
