Malawian Man Assaulted To Death By Niece’s Husband In An Attempt To Settle Marital Dispute

A 41 year old Malawian man has been assaulted to death by her niece’s husband on his attempt to settle marital dispute of the two in Kasungu.

Kasungu Police Spokesperson Joseph Kachikho confirmed of the development.

According to Kachikho, Kambikwa was called by his niece to settle marital dispute with her husband, Amos Nkhoma.

But when Kambikwa got to their house, Nkhoma together with his friend started assaulting him.

He was later taken to Kamuzu Central Hospital where he was rushed for treatment, unfortunately, he died.

At the moment, the police are keeping in custody the two suspects for allegedly assaulting and killing a person.

Nkhoma, 24 hails from Juma Village, Traditional Authority Kaomba in the District and Moses Mhango, 20 hails from Kawemba Village, Tradiional Authority Mwahenga In Rumphi.

Until his death, Kambikwa was working as a Huan Resource Manager for Kasungu based Community Radio Station, Kasungu FM.

The two will appear in court soon.
