Genset-gate case: Henry Mussa back in court

The Court in Lilongwe has resumed hearing a case where former Minister of Information Henry Mussa and former Director of Information Gideon Munthali are being accused of stealing ten computers and a standby genset.

During his testimony, Mussa has told the court that one of the gensets was dropped at his house without his knowledge by the first accused person, Gideon Munthali.

Asked why he could not follow up on the use of the genset, Mussa said he did not remember to have received a call that a genset was dropped at his compound as he was abit tied up with both office work and the 2019 general elections campaign.

He has denied of any conspiracy with Munthali to steal the said items.
