Kalindo says Mzuzu demonstrations on

Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has said demonstrations against rising costs of living slated for Mzuzu this coming Friday are on.

Kalindo, popularly known as Winiko said this after a meeting with Cabinet Ministers in the capital Lilongwe on Tuesday.

He said the demonstrations will still take place in Mzuzu because government has failed to address some critical issues including prices of basic needs.

According to Kalindo, he is not convinced with some of the responses from government.

Meanwhile, government has revised downwards the controversial tollgate fees.
